At most weddings seating charts are divided up by table numbers, at a few I've been to they've been set up by funny names for the tables. Anyone got any ideas for themes for the tables? Maybe we'll do hockey teams? Scott's a big sports nut. Or colours? Let me know if you have any thoughts. Just thinking...

You could have names of drinks that you both enjoy or create signature drinks and if your carterer/venue allows it, have those signature drinks or drinks that you enjoy on the bar so that people can order them.

Because we were going to Disney for our honeymoon, we did Disney couples. It was light and cute, (the only Disney he allowed me) matched my personality and was super easy to get pictures for the tables.

My friend had a spring wedding and she did names of flowers that she liked. Since it is a fall wedding you could do the names of trees.

Because my wife lived in Buffalo and I lived in Clarington , the tables were named after the towns we travelled through each week to see each other, I use Google maps and printed out a map for the signs.

We did bands that reflected both our styles of music, ie Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, etc. Anything you do will be fun and much more interesting than numbers.
