There has been a change in wedding plans. Scott and I have decided to postpone our wedding until the Spring of 2010. I've realized lately that the most important thing to me is to have my friends and family there on our big day...healthy and happy. I also want them there for the Jack and Jill and the bachelor/bachelorette parties, the showers, etc. Its more than just one day.
With this last month being as hectic as it was, rushing back and forth from the hospital to be there for my loved ones I need sometime to wind down.
I won't stop wedding planning of course, I just won't be running in fast forward anymore.
With a new season means new colours and flowers, etc...
What do you like for Spring?
We still need to pick a date. Its between May and June right now. Tulips are in May right? I love tulips.

I can totally understand where you're coming from, Stefanie. We were originally going to be getting married in October of this year, but there were many factors last summer (family illness, friends away for school/travel, the economy, etc) that motivated us to hold off and re-plan for 2010. Dealing with different situations - particularly family illness - really makes you look at wedding planning from a different perspective and puts everything in check.
All the best with planning your Big Day! Looking forward to reading more of your blog :)
