I was saddened today to read that actor Paul Newman has died. He was one of my favourite actors. Very classy and cool. And I loved that almost constant twinkle in his baby blues. I loved his acting. And I liked the fact that, in my eyes anyway, he looked like my Dad, another classy, cool, silent type. My other favourite actors are gone, too -- Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck. I can't think of any actor today who strikes that kind of a chord with me. Maybe Tom Hanks. Maybe. Thanks, Paul, for sharing your talents with us.

We had rented 'The Sting' just last weekend and enjoyed it again. And he did look like Dad Christy!

I am happy Paul Newman was able to live a long life. I loved his movies which I have watched over, and over, Paul is on the list of Good looking actors, and he was even handsome as he grew older.
He will not be forgotten. I especially loved when Paul Newman acted opposite Robert Redford, they made a great team.
