Local Directory

Monna ask for some info on organic and ethically conscious businesses in the area.  A friend of mine prepared a list of businesses in the area that she knew of that were organic or at least bent in that direction. Download organic_directory.pdf I'm sure there are others in the area that aren't on this list but it should be a good starting point.  One that comes to mind is the Marigold Natural and Organic Food Coop (www.marigoldfood.com).

If anyone else can suggest some other places please leave a comment.

Thanks for the list and suggestion. A new coffee shop has just opened in hitby called Three Steps up, located just south of Rossland on Brock. They serve organic soups and sandwiches, fair trade coffee and friendly service at reasonable prices.
