Tank, a beautiful rottweiler who's proved to be a loving and gentle creature, has gone missing and his family is hurting for him to come home.
"I have a devastated 7 year old daughter with juvenile diabetes and this anxiety is certainly not helping her blood glucose levels," said his owner Sharon McCall in an e-mail. "I am desperate."
Tank is a single-breed, three-year-old male rottweiler with a cropped tail. He was last seen wearing a silver choke collar on the evening he disappeared on July 22. He is believed to have opened a glass sliding door at Kingston and Galloway in Scarborough.
His owner, Sharon, who has long rescued unwanted animals, drove to Montreal in October, 2009, to rescue him from a high-kill shelter.
"They deemed him unadoptable, aggressive and should not be out in public," she said. "That was almost 2 years ago, and he since resided with me, my spouse, my 2 young kids, 2 cats and several foster dogs coming and going. Tank has proved to be gentle, kind and excellent with the elderly."
The family has been looking for him ever since, and exhausted all online search methods. Sharon has even been in touch with an animal communicator, who feels he isn't too far and is living with another family that doesn't want to give Tank up.
"We have since been to shelters, used all online sources, put up posters and now offer a thousand dollar reward," she said.
The reward is for his safe return, no questions asked.
Anyone with information, please e-mail Sharon or call her at 905-718-3362.

I have a lot of fosters and one that was adopted got awaya from the new owners the very next day. We contacted a Pet Detective and he told them what to do and how to do it. I know you have contacted someone but if you would like this guys number please let me know and I will be more than happy to send it to you. He looks at maps from the area and can tell you almost exactly where your baby is. He is excellent and would refer him to anyone that wanted their family memeber back. Hope he is found and soon. God bless!!!
