Just plain foolishness...

Two and a half hours to get from Sunderland to Don Mills Rd and Overlea this morning. Two and a half hours. That's 150 minutes folks. 9000 seconds of my life dripped out at about 5 km an hour. And why? Why? Largely, apparently, the result of motorists being forced to deal with some new catastrophic and never before seen meteorological phenomenon called 'rain'. Yeah. This 'rain' apparently causes all kinds of horrendous issues and dangers for drivers. It's wet and icky and just being out in it makes your chances of dying a firey death in your vehicle extremely high. So by all means don't go out in it and if you absolutely have to drive in the rain for God's sake don't go faster than 10 kph. To do otherwise is just plain foolishness...apparently.

We need to find work in the rural areas or learn to dematerialize and materialize where we want. I think the dematerialize and materialize may be the path of lease resistance.
