Let them eat cake...

I generally try to keep anger out of my life. I had one tumor, I don't need another. And tumors love anger. But I am really wrestling with this latest crud about the US economy and bank bail outs. There is something hugely amiss when the rich, fat white guy bankers who got the country into the mess it's in (all on the back of poor working stiffs trying to buy a house or sock away some savings) will not only not be prosecuted but will also be given golden handshakes to the tune of millions and millions of dollars. People are losing their entire life savings, their homes, their livelihoods because of the mismanagement and greed of these assholes and nothing is to be done. Kind of makes you want to storm a Bastille doesn't it? I swear to God somewhere, in some Palm Beach Mansion somebody is saying 'Let them eat cake.'
