Thanks Mr. Newman

I couldn't let the weekend go by without a word or two of tribute to one of my all time faves, Paul Newman. Thank you Mr. Newman. Thank you for Hud and Cat on a hot tin roof and Butch and Sundance and The Sting and thank you most of all, from the bottom of my actors heart for Cool Hand Luke. And thank you for doing it all with such class and poise and professionalism that the rest of us didn't mind calling ourselves actors too, if it meant being like you.
And finally, thank you on a very personal level for showing me that's it's okay to have acting as your job...not your life. You seemed to have done it all the right way Paul. You packed a whole lot of love and living in those 83 years. Thanks for raising the bar.

The original "Hustler" with Jackie Gleason as Minnestoa Fats. 1961 - a classic. If you can find it, it's a must see. Paul Newman was one of the very best actors and human beings this world has ever known. Modesty, values, compassion for the less fortunate. He even downplayed his battle with cancer to avoid being a centre of attention. Class personified. Farwell Paul.

Paul was truly a "Class Act". I am saddened that another of my favourite movie stars has left us to go to the big theatre in the sky.

OOOOPS!
My comment was supposed to be with the previous post. I apologise for any confusion.

I am on board with you Neil!!!
I am more than convinced now, that I will not be spending any of my hard earned cash in the US of A ssholes. It makes me sick to my stomach what thieves the bankers are. "Let them eat sh*t". There was a financial expert on Oprah last week. She warned everyone that day what to do with their savings and how to divide it among various institutions and savings bonds etc. She was adamant about doing it no later than that day of the show. She saw it coming. The camera panned onto the audience and the worried perplexed faces said it all. I love Canada.....
