Vote...or shut the hell up.

ImagesVoting day. Get out and do it folks. Exercise that franchise. I know sometimes it's a matter of the lesser of many evils, but at least we have the choice folks. Nobody is telling us who to vote for. Democracy still works in this country. Can't say the same thing for those poor bastards south of us...and I'm not talking about Nicaragua. The electoral system in Canada still puts a great deal of honest power right smack dab in your hands and mine. I always feel really good when I vote. I feel like I'm getting a say, that I matter, that I am responsible. I hope you feel the same way. Even if you don't like the names on the ballot...go out and tell them so. We make it work folks. And by the by, if you don't vote or won't vote...then shut the hell up the rest of the year.

Well said Neil!

I voted. Always do.
My polling station was quite busy.

So! True! Thanks Neil...
