Vanessa Rocks!

Cebd715d4545ab224bb891b22a49_2 I'm absolutely thrilled by the success of my niece Vanessa Crone and her skating partner Paul Poirier in this weekends Grand Prix competition in Ottawa. They got the silver medal and were the sweethearts of the competition. We got to tune in and watch them on CBC. Very cool to see her looking so beautiful and performing so flawlessly under pressure. These kids are headed to the Olympics I am certain. Outstanding guys...Uncle Neil says you rock. Check out the details here.

Funny...When I saw them, I had a brief moment where I asked myself if she could be a relative of yours. I dismissed that thought believing I was sounding like that American Guy who asks "Hey are you from Toronto, do you know Dave?"
