Bragging Rights

3023563553_654a196534_m This is my 'little' brother Staff Sergeant Tim Crone aboard Vimy.  They are in front of the cenotaph at Toronto's old City Hall.  Amazing that a kid from the burbs of Agincourt could turn into such a horse guy. The really cool thing is that if you look closely you can see that Tim is holding spurs in his hands.  The same spurs that my grandfather used when he rode into battle at Vimy Ridge in the first world war.  Tim said that he would've like to have actually worn the spurs but that they were too small.  Compared to my grand dad, Tim is a giant.  Actually compared to my grand dad, I'm a giant.  They were a lot smaller back then.  Anyway, I'm extremely proud of my brothers Tim, Matt and J.J.  All of whom have served the Metro Police services with distinction. I personally could never do the job these guys do.  It's hard enough playing one on TV.  Special thanks, by the way to Anne Dehaas for this photograph.  It's a beaut.
