Here's guest blogger Andrea McCall to give us an update about her dating experiences.

ast week I gave you a little taste of some of the people I have met in my dating adventures with the internet. After I wrote it and sent it off, I thought that what I had wrote might not be fair to the really nice guys that I have met, but for a variety of reasons, a relationship is not possible. It hasn't ALL been bad. I still consider these people my close aquaintences, even friends.
One guy used to travel from Toronto to my town, approximately every six weeks, with his job. He contacted me, let me know that he was coming into town and would be on a regular basis. We met and hit it off. He is a really nice guy and we have similar interests. I really enjoy(ed) being with him. Unfortunately, his area changed and he is no longer coming to my town. We still phone each other and talk, but he has kids and a great job, as I do, so there is no chance that we could be together on a regular basis. Maybe that is a good thing, because I think I could really like this guy.
Another guy that I have met is a musician in the Ottawa area and was on the site to meet friends and promote himself and his bands. We consistently e-mail each other and I am so excited when I see that I have received an e-mail from him. He is funny and has a great sense of adventure and life. He is attached and really isn't looking for anymore than friends and I think that is great. You can never have enough friends.
I have other e-mail pals, one in England and a Canadian travelling in Finland. They seem like nice guys and I enjoy hearing about their interests and adventures, but I really can't imagine anything going any farther than where they are currently.
I enjoy each encounter and try to learn from them. I know I love the way the Toronto guy makes me feel when I with him and I love the Ottawa guy's spontinaity and humour. Each one had special traits that I know I need to look for in the person that will eventually come my way.
Add that to making sure they have front teeth and a vehicle and that will be the perfect picture of my prince charming...
