Countdown to Vegas

In her book, "I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts On Being a Woman, or maybe it was on her blog at Huffington Post that writer Nora Ephron recommended women meet up with their girl friends for an out-of-town girls' weekend. It seems to me that she recommended Vegas.

So, when our regular, Wednesday guest blogger, Andrea McCall invited me to meet her in Las Vegas this November, I immediately said, "Yes." She fired off an email to her friend Jenn, who, as it turns out, is a travel agent extraordinaire.

Therefore, I believe it's fair to say that Jenn Rocks!

Before Thursday of last week, I hadn't met Jenn. Now, she and I are Facebook pals. And after more than 20 years, Andrea and I will visit in person for the first time since 1986.Jenn_blog_3

Here's a photo of Jenn (sorry it's so weeny) that I snagged, with her permission, from Facebook, in case you see Jenn in her hometown of Thunder Bay, you should know how cool she is.
