Working to make the Invisible Visible
If you're a regular reader here, you've may have been following my mother's burgeoning writing and speaking career as I blog about it. In fact, rececently, she added an on-camera interview to her CV and she's slowly edging out my number of appearances. Sure, after a decade in print, my book is still experiencing consistent sales, but her book has gained a wider audience, been used to raise funds for a reunion of Aboriginal Servicewomen and it's topic is something of an historical, and frankly, more important nature.
Here's a link to a video clip at National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces website. It's an interview about her book Invisible Women: WWII Aboriginal Servicewomen in Canada.
Or, read about it.
