I am still at home recovering despite orders, or rather, a misguided directive from my employer's EAP, in other words, just another outsourced STD benefits adviser. Having been recently restructured into the firm's HR group, I am taking careful notes on the process. So far, these health and productivity solutions experts have failed on all accounts---from an incomplete assessment to the snarky attitude of its employee.
So, while I am at home recovering, I plan to spend some time on the couch with my heat pack (a close companion), after doing my physiotherapy exercises, watching the television coverage of Michael Jackson's memorial.
(Who has time to work when the therapist keeps adding more exercises? The good news this week is that I've graduated from ice packs to heat packs.
And no, that's not a hairline fracture on my back rib, that pain is muscular. But oh, that groin ouchy? That's caused by the smack your hips took in the crash when the door smucked into you.)

LOL. Thanks for the cheery post.
