Whoa. Peter Moore, not the Wolfman, has nards!

This is the kind of stuff I bet happens all the time, and you just never hear about it.

Peter Moore said "Eff you" to Sonic the Hedgehog creator, Yuji Naka.

The only thing greater would be if Shigeru Miyamoto told Hideo Kojima to "get some contact lenses, you effing nerd."

But considering how secretive the industry is, I imagine he already has.

It's hard to say if Naka really deserved it or not. Considering the remark was due to Naka's responce to some recorded focus group footage, I can't tell who made the larger mistake. Yes, the Dreamcast was going through a very hard time, but what the hell is a group of 20 year olds going to tell you? I'm 23, but I know that judging by the responces provided in Moore's survey, these guys were a bunch of tools. Who would ever consider Rockstar to be the "drunken uncle who'd show up with a hooker from Vegas." Is that positive or negative? As soon as you agree to refer to various publishers as types of people, your entire opinion becomes invalid. Here's one, focus group participants who hurt Yuji Naka's feelings are like the bald guy who wears wigs instead of coming to terms with his predicament. How's that for an awful opinion.

So, is there anyone you'd like to curse at?

It's a bit strong to say that I want to pull a Peter Moore, but there is someone who I think gets way too much press for the worst of reasons. David Perry, former leader of Shiny, current voodoo priestess resurrecting the Acclaim brand. Every once and again, he pops up in the news for saying the most uneventful things. Who could forget his rant about the PS3 not making money in it's lifetime. I mean, for some crazy reason, the guy think he can talk about financial success. Where the hell is Shiny anyways? Had he not reduced them to little more than nothing before he up and left? And now, he's brought back Acclaim, which is probably the most intelligent thing I've ever heard anyone do. Maybe a Shadowman MMO is one the way!

He's also said that E3 was lame this year, which was a cool thing to say when people who are actually regarded positively said the same thing.

So yeah, I'm not to impressed with David Perry. If he can manage to put together a decent Earthworm Jim sequel, we'll call it equal.
