With every passing minute, the Trent Hills council chambers at the municipal office in Campbellford continues to fill with area residents, eager to learn the results of this year's election.

Who will win?

The last Trent Hills resident to cast their vote

Trent Hills mayoral incumbent Hector Macmillan and his wife Sandy were the last residents to cast their votes in this year's municipal election.

"I am very pleased to say I have ran a credible, honest campaign," said Mr. Macmillan. "And that my peers that know me, that have known me my whole life and trust me, continue to give their support."

The polls will closed at 8 p.m. tonight. The results are expected to be available shortly after 9 p.m. tonight.

Three more hours!

Only three hours remain until the polls close on another Trent Hills municipal election.

Those residents who neglected to, or forgot to mail in there ballots can still head to the Trent Hills municipal office (66 Front Street in Campbellford) and drop their ballot off.

As of Oct. 20 - 4,675 Trent Hills residents have voted, meaning 40 per cent of those residents registered to vote. Are you one of those who have voted? If not, head to the Trent Hills municipal office and drop your ballot off now.

The polls will close at 8 p.m. tonight. The results are expected to be available shortly after 9 p.m. tonight.
