Some cool shows in Hogtown this weekend... beginning with the Frigging Frog...Mahogany Frog are in The Boat tonight...no visit to La Shwa this time for the Winnipeggers...maybe next... The Wet Secrets are at the El Mo and Mother Mother play Lee's. Locals Champion Heartache are playing with Joe Roncetti at The Hideout.
Lee's is also home to a great double bill on Saturday Jason Collett and Rock Plaza Central play. Some hometown kats These Silhouettes play the Reverb Saturday...your call on that one.
Monday one time DFA1979 Sebastian Grainger brings his Mountain into the Supermarket....
and Tuesday at the Lulu the Weber Brothers are gonna rock that town rock it inside out.... great show at Chicagos last Friday... standup bassist Ryan was a standup guy and played with a busted index... wrapped in bandaids and bleeding he gave it all anway...slapping away at the big box like a man pocessed or at least one intent on getting through. Excellent job from the brothers.
