Now I know that Vancity's Cancon trailblazers 5440 have played this area a few times of late but circumstances have determined that I haven't see the band live since, well,...its been a while. In fact I think that last time was when they played the Siren or Adrenaline or whatever club was on the site on the now restored Regent Theatre...so its a bit odd, just a bit, that 5440 will play the Regent on November 23 and I'll more than likely be at it. Same band, same ol' me, same space...different room...interesting.
Also announced the Irish Rovers for December 3...with Lord Of The Dance, Great Big Sea, Celtic Tenors and now the Rovers all coming through town in the next month anyone would "tink" we're having an early St. Pats Day. I didn't know there were that many Hibernophiles in the area... looks like we'll be having a green Christmas regardless of the weatherman's forecast.
