In response to our query about At The Hotel we received this email:
Hello Will.
I'm not sure if anyone from the band has gotten back to you yet, but if not here you go. we got this gig from playing NXNE last year. The person (i can't remember his name right now) who was doing the casting for the band in the third episode saw us play and thought that we were the band for the part. They needed a young rock band and we fit. the part is this... we play ourselves.
We come to the hotel to shoot a music video with our manager Don McKellar, who is also a movie director making a documentry about our tour. We trash a hotel room, shoot our music video for our song "Sweet Little Sister ", meet the locals in the hotel, yadda yadda yadda... I don't want to ruin the plot.
We don't have too many lines, but that's fine. it was just an incredible experience working with Ken Finkleman, getting to act with Don McKellar, and seeing how the whole television scene works.
On the first day Ken told us right off the bat, "I don't like people to act." he wanted a more natural feel to it. and we thought that was fine, since we had never acted before. i think that about covers it... ?

Its kinda cool in a Showcase vignette  kinda way
The Mark Inside  are due to appear in the third episode of At The Hotel the new CBC show,
"In the third episode you can watch Chris, Gus, Geoff and Geordie flex their acting chops in addition to blowing the doors off the show with a performance of Sweet Little Sister.  Don McKellar acts as our director.
